Democratic Debate???

Why would you schedule a debate for a Saturday night?? I would really like to watch, but football all day on Saturday.

Why would they not do a Tuesday or Wednesday night so they don't have to compete with college football.

I doubt Hillary and Bernie are college football fans. Certainly the tree huggers and the granola crunchers who'll be watching aren't college football fans.

The democratic leadership has adopted a strategy of helping HRC get elected under the guise of limiting the amount of bulletin board material any dem candidate would give a repub challenger . It's wrong and frankly the leadership should be taken out back and given forty lashes for this strategy.

They don't want anyone to watch and fwiw nobody will.

The dems plan is to put this blow hard act on at a time nobody will watch and count on the lame-stream media to bloviate over how great they all were. You might as read about it on the sports page because the drive-by media will proclaim every word a home run.

The libs rely on the uniformed in order to get elected so they pray that the vast uniformed will be doing something else Saturday night and miss this circle jerk debate.

My suspicion is that DWS doesn't want Bernie to have any more exposure than he already has.
I don't know, Dancing With the Stars has had some pretty old competitors. I think Bernie could cut a pretty mean foxtrot. He also has the facial expressions for the Paso or Argentine Tango, but I doubt he could handle the jive or cha-cha.

They actually both have said it:

While it may seem good to some, at the heart of it, is that society should follow suit with everything that those who control society say they should. No questions, no toleration for individualism. You lemmings get the #$#$ in line, for the good of all of you, while I sit on the mountain eating and enjoying the fruits of your labor, while I laugh and make fun of your gullibility to the other Mountain folk.

I do not understand the logic. For all her faults , and there to many to count, she is a very good debater

Stylistically you are right that she's good as a person talking in a debate. I think that the bigger concern in doing all of this is the kind of questions that get asked of her, and her not getting one on a topic that she's avoided talking about or taking strong positions on, especially if they are topics that Bernie has spoken out a lot on (thinks like TPP, H-1B wages, etc.) So far, she's not been heavily challenged in the questions she's fielded in the one debate they have had so far. I wonder how she would have fielded a follow up to her question on why she felt "Iranians" were one of her biggest enemies. Was kind of broad statement that opened her up for some critique on that sort of statement.
