I understand the frustration with the portal and NIL, but that takes nothing away from the actual experience of watching a college football game. It sucks that guys are transferring 3+ times in their career, but if you just pay attention to the game on the field…it’s still pretty great.

I love pro and college both, but FCS ball is underrated bigly.

College football was once considered pure amateur sport. It has
become tainted with NIL and Transfer portal as some players look
for the best financial opportunities. The inflated Conferences like
the Big Ten are now coast to coast with 18 teams. Travel and various
time zones complicate things.

Bottom Line: I still love college football and my Iowa Hawkeyes. Born
and raised in Iowa we have no NFL team in our state.
My sentiments exactly, But I'm taking a wait and see attitude for a couple yrs to see
how NILL and the portal totally affect College football.

I prefer college. I'll generally watch 3-4 NFL games a year, all during the playoffs/Super Bowl.

I used to enjoy the NFL 10ish years or so ago, but I just don't enjoy it much anymore. For some reason it's just not entertaining to me at all.

20 years ago it was by far college over NFL but I've switched now to the opposite. Outside of the playoff level teams, the quality of the college game is overall poor. Even the playoffs have seen some awful qb play which makes for a tough watch.

College football is more entertaining to me because I have more emotion attached to the teams. Other than my love for the Hawkeyes, I also have teams and the SEC I love to root against. With the NFL I don't have those ties. I care about the Hawkeye NFL players, but as far as teams go I don't have a favorite unless I place a bet.

Both. I'm a Chiefs fan and Andy Reid doesn't make me want to throw things like Kirk Ferentz does so right now I prefer Sundays... and Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. All of which the Chiefs have played on this year.

So much adversity

i wouldn't even watch NFL if it weren't for fantasy football. NIL is sending me down a path to not watching either. The NFL is at least a somewhat fair marketplace.

Both have a tremendous amount of fans, but are different. College football is more regional and the NFL is national with fans everywhere.

Which do you prefer to watch and post why?

Me myself, I love college. I wish all the games in the new playoff were held at the top seed’s home field until the championship game.
If I ever had a scheduling conflict between Iowa and the Jaguars, there's no conflict it's Iowa EVERY TIME. I'll watch the NFL but a good college atmosphere like a White Out, any big game in Kinnick especially at night, games in the Shoe, Rocky Top, The Swamp... etc much more interesting to me than the pro game.
