I delivered the Tribune after school for about 7 years until it merged with the Register. We had to collect cash from our routes every two weeks, which was my introduction at a young age that some people will try to avoid paying for what they have purchased. A lot of my earnings were spent in arcades growing up but I also saved quite a bit that has compounded nicely over 40+ years.
