We have a ton of remote workers that came down here. That’s what’s changed the equation. Always had the retiree’s.

That I can agree with. I would go to warmer weather if my job allowed me. The increased number of retirees is having a major affect as well though.

I don't know how people can argue that people have been coming to Florida for years regardless. Why do you think we have such a large senior population here? Maybe because retirees have been flocking here long before you arrived?
Yes, and retirees are still coming as they always have. In addition there has been an increase in telework the last couple years that has increased the amount of people coming here.

My sister teaches at an elementary school chosen as a pilot school for the book program. They were told they need to scan all of the books in. One teacher started and took 30 hours with so many books in the classroom. The other 11 hours. One teacher basically said fvck it and is electing to only keep two books in the classroom and remove all of the others. The classroom that took 11 hours is Pre-K so we are talking about books like The Little Blue Truck.
