Seems like Deshaun took over the CB #2 spot from TJ Hall. I thought Deshaun played really well last year during Jermari’s suspension and Cooper’s injury. He seems like a B1G level starting corner.
One thing I noticed was how physical he was in run support during MN game. The tried to exploit him 1v1 on the edge in run support with Taylor a handful of times and more often than not Deshaun won and finished the play with physicality.
Excited to see how he develops. I think he’ll be the next great CB from Iowa in the NFL after Jermari leaves.
