Developmental program in a developmental year

QB needs to continue growth work on consistency and accuracy.

OL needs to put a hat on a hat and create multiple running lanes

WR still need work or routes
and faster recognition of spaces in zones.

Defense as a whole is playing about where I'd expect them to, just need more turnovers, more posession, better field position.

This is your basic September Iowa football team. Very basic. Not a great start to league play. Going to have to work hard to make a bowl game. Exactly what we thought this year.

The only surprise is our running game being so far off.

What exactly are we developing in to? This is the same mediocre football we have come to expect under Ferentz. We will enjoy our breakout year every 5 or so years.....
