Ignoring everything else and the plot holes that happened prior, I didn’t think the last episode was all that bad. This was a limited run series. It was finished in a way that wrapped up the character. Biggest issue is that Harrison was screwed over hard. No reason he couldn’t have claimed self defense and tried to settle down in the town to finally set some roots. Yeah it would have been weird, but his father wasn’t his fault. Instead she sends a 17 year old on the run with $100 in cash.

There are many things that could have been improved in this last season, but it wasn’t that bad. Biggest issues were a few plot holes like getting shot in the leg being ignored and the girlfriend magically knowing he’s the Bay Harbor Butcher.

The leg shot was bad...but am I the only one that followed how she connected Jim to Dexter? Didn't seem like too much of a leap...

And for the record, I liked this ending much more than lumberjack Dexter...

I just think they should have made this into a second or third season series. Things got rushed, things were forgotten in the rush and it was dumb that Angela looked into Dexter without better detailing of why and how she found everything.

That's what I was thinking about Harrison. She screwed him hard by just sending him on his way to god knows where with a few crumbled dollars. Jeezus.

Big Dexter fans and were excited for the new season. We had to force ourselves to finish season 9. very meh. Limited series never seemed to let the characters fully develop. Hated Harrison. Was never a big fan of Debra in the series, but she was even more annoying in season 9. Cringeworthy. Like the villain character, Kurt Caldwell, but wanted more of that backstory. Kurt was played by actor Clancy Brown. He’s excellent. Very disappointed was didn’t get a Dexter Morgan, Angel Batista reunion.

Had no idea. Of course I don't really watch network TV so would have missed any commercials. The review for 1st episode is really good. Cast is excellent.

Just looked it up, Dexter Resurrection. They alluded to it in the first episode of Original Sin where he was alive and taken to the hospital. I hope they can pull this off somehow, but going in with low expectations. I'm doing the same with Original Sin and have been pleasantly surprised through the 3 eps.
