Did he kill her?

I agree. He isn't in that swamp. I can't figure out how they haven't been able to track where they went with the camper for three days. I can see all of them leaving their cell phones at home and using only cash while traveling. That is easy. It is the traffic cams and tag readers that seemingly should tell where they went. Maybe the license plate spray for red light cameras actually works.
If they didn't take a toll road, and got to I-10, there aren't going to be much in the way of tag readers all the way to Texas.

Besides his parents saying he was going there, do they have any actual evidence he even went there?

No worries. Dog'll find him. Just curious, do the Laundries have "get out of town" money?

No telling what their finances are but I think it is safe to say that they had sufficient resources to fund BL's getaway and provide him enough money to live on the Appalachian Trail, in Mexico or some other foreign location. Their current house is worth just under $400,000 and they were renting it out until recently. I have seen mention that they own a condo in Sarasota County. They have some not inexpensive vehicles and the attachment camper alone would provide enough money to fund both BL's getaway and off grid lifestyle for a year or longer.

BL could be on the run for decades. There have been at least a couple arrests in the Tampa area in recent years where someone with 10 or 20 year old warrants was found living here under a new identity. I would imagine that is a not uncommon occurrence around the country. Add in his outdoorsman skills and it will likely take a big mistake on his part for the FBI to find him.

If what we suspect is true, he's capable of 'big mistakes'.

But could they funnel that money to him without the Feds noticing?

Dog is wrong on the dates. Here he says they were camping until the 8th. The neighbors said they packed up the camper on the 11th, the day Gabby was officially reported missing, and then gone for three days. I suspect Dog had a few and dreamt up this sighting.

They have cameras all up and down I10.
Those cameras will tell them how congested the hurricane evacuation route is, but I don't think they're cameras made for reading plates.

There is specialty gear for this that some PDs have equipped and drive around parking lots, etc. registering everyone's whereabouts.

It's weird.

Dog the Bounty Hunter getting involved is one of my favorite twists to this story.

Pinellas County Sheriff (Clearwater/St Pete) thinks so little of Dog's creation that they aren't even sending a car over to check it out.

Not sure but they should be able to locate the make, color, model of vehicles around the time of the disappearance.
There aren't people monitoring the various traffic cams on I-10 unless there's an event, such as a pileup that stops traffic.

For the "He killed himself" camp, I'm doubtful of that. His parents did an awful lot to protect him, and get him a head start, and ruin their own reputation, just for him to off himself in a swamp.

Now, it's been awhile, so he might have killed himself since if things were desperate, or died by misadventure, but I don't think he escaped just intending to kill himself. However, I think if he hasn't died since, it's likely he could kill himself if the authorities close in.

The world has changed quite a bit just since Eric Rudolph. I think it's unlikely he could stay disappeared and alive for years.

911 call from in front of the Moonflower Co-Op. Caller says "gentleman was slapping the girl"

This video is a great example of lengths some people will take to show and convince others how perfect their lives are.

Had a former neighbor like this… posted all of these ‘look how wonderful our lives are’ … and then you learn he was smacking her around and pulling her by her hair etc., until one night she pounded on my door at 1 am.

There is a special place for guys who knock around their partners. Yes, I know females can be violent, too.

I have a strong feeling they will find this guy at some point… but he won’t be alive. And I hope his parents are held accountable, too, for harboring this POS…

He may still be alive … but if authorities close in on him I doubt he will be captured alive.

He is an avid outdoorsman, but there is a huge difference between roughing it, and living in Mexico, or anywhere, off the grid for any length of time. Physically he could blend in with different clothing, and changing up his appearance a little. But, as someone who reads real life spy stuff, you can be tripped up and tracked a lot of ways. At best he'd find some dump motels that might take cash, and ways to buy some food, but it's very hard. Eric Rudolph pulled it off for several years as I recall, but he had prepped for living on the run. Laundrie would need to have prepped for a run, and I don't think he had too much time for that. He'd most likely need continued support, and the parents are now under a microscope. If he is living under a bridge or something, that gets old pretty quick. His mind will start to convince him that he didn't kill Gabby, and he'll talk his way out of a conviction.

Laundrie huffing it in a Florida swamp is the biggest joke I've seen since Bear Grylls huffing it in a hotel or Dual Survival eating catered meals on the Discovery Channel. This line of investigation is so absurd, it's funny. I sometimes wonder when the suspect is white you have to come up with the most crackpot theory to explain the resilience of this idiot not getting caught. He ain't Eric Rudolph and he for sure ain't seal team 7 or delta force. He's a granola eating cuck who choked to death (my guess) a 80 pound girl who offered less resistance than the chipmunks in my yard. Add incompetent law enforcement that gave him a multi week head start and he's either in Mexico or the Caribbean. The only positive is if this ass clown went to the swamp and scrambled his brains. I'm hoping for this but dude is a coward so I doubt that also.

I wonder whether transfers of Bitcoin would be a way for the parents to transfer "funds" to him anonymously, to support him over a period of time.

It is possible for more than one person to have the private key to a wallet so that anyone with the key could spend funds from the wallet.
No other permission is required.

Is Dog the Bounty Hunter looking in El Salvador yet?
