This occurred to me as well. Given how close the game was, I could see the committee flip flopping Iowa and Michigan St sending Iowa to the Rose Bowl.

Iowa has better wins- northwestern. then osu's um win, then iowa's wisconsin win.

Iowa should be ranked ahead of osu.

Agreed Iowa has the better resume, but the more recent loss is what is most impactful. If Oklahoma was unbeaten then lost to the terrible Texas team in their last game they wouldn't even be considered for the playoffs.
