Did you keep count of how many trick or treaters showed at your door?

This is our fourth Halloween in our current house and though our neighborhood is one of the best in all of Tallahassee to trick or treat, our road is a bit tough due to ditches and lots of traffic since it is used a lot as a connecting road. Our neighbors first year when we asked said they had not got a trick or treater in 10 years.

So day before and all Halloween we put up three signs that said Full size Candybarz on each one respectively both ways.

Advertisement works. Got about 25 the first year 1, 50-60 last few years and over 75 last night.

Me sitting in the kitchen while trick-or-treaters are knocking, wondering whether or not I should share my knees:

About 350. Neighbor ran out of stuff after 311 units (she always knows how many bags she has) and we had people for about 20 minutes after that.

We had cases of different pops for the kids to choose from, had about 80. Every year we have a fire in our drive way and project kids scary movies on the garage. We also hand out shots to all the parents.

We ended up having 10-12 neighbors in our driveway until about 1:30 this morning and went through two bottles of Tequila and maybe a case of beers. I'm sure there were some headaches this morning.

Pic of pops?

Zero. There's a huge neighborhood trick-or-treat event about 15 blocks from me. They block off the whole street with barricades and have businesses show up, and all the houses go all out. Everyone goes there, and for good reason, they are guaranteed a good haul of candy.

There is no incentive for anyone to trick-or-treat in the area outside of that event.

Old man had 200+

My theory is America has gotten fatter, lazier, and more introverted therefore people either aren't having kids or if they do their lazy asses would rather make an excuse to not trick or treat instead of walking around with their children.
They're going to wealthy, walkable neighborhoods.

I’d guess around 1250-1500. This is between our two stores and our home. Both of our stores’ towns have trick or treating in their villages for the kids. It can be pretty nuts but a lot of fun.

Holy schnikes!

How much did you spend on candy?

Four hours of trick-or-treating? That’s way too much. Most people aren’t even home from work yet.

We have two hours and that’s plenty. When my kids were that age I don’t think they ever lasted the full two hours before they got bored and wanted to go home.

Your kids got bored of trick or treating? No offense but they kind of sound like entitled cvnts
