DIRECTV & Lexus Commericial

Anybody else with DIRECTV have an issue where it freezes at the end of a certain Lexus commercial? I've probably had this happen at least 5 times the last few days. The screen will just freeze on a picture of 3 Lexus models. I can jump back then ahead to get by it, but it's rather annoying. I'm wondering it this is something being done on purpose or a glitch.

Mine freezes on an American Express commercial. Supposedly they are aware and working on it.

Yep. Same thing with the FanDuel commercials as well

That is awesome. I especially enjoyed the direct TV forum about how this is SO OBVIOUSLY something DTV has done on purpose.

I don't watch much live TV so not suprised I haven't experienced it

This is the third thread on the third board I have seen about DTV freezing at random times.

Well, at least you people are enjoying poor tech and paying too much also.

I wonder if they're trying to incorporate interactive commercials and it's failing? It still freaks me out sometimes when during a commercial the button pops up and I can interact with the tv regarding the commercial.

Yup. I mean, yup it's happened here. I don't know whether the answer to the question at the end of your post is yup or nope.

directv seems to have me frozen on some weekly mailing list throwing the kitchen sink at me to get me back as a customer. had it not been like pulling teeth to get any sort of promotion or anything as a 7 year subscriber, they would perhaps still have me as a customer.
