Do Hawks pull for the B10 @ the Dance?

I try my best. I figure it makes us/our conference look better. I assume the teams doing well helps out in conference strength of schedule. Is that a thing?

How has that ever helped our recruiting even one bit? We recruit against these teams; why should we want them to look appealing to a recruit. Screw em' all....hope they all get bounced early....conference loyalty is stupid!!!

We don't directly compete with Michigan St, Maryland and many other B1G schools for recruits, but promoting the conference is a large part of recruiting nationally or against teams like Iowa St, Creighton, Missouri, etc. Nice to be able to sell a schedule that includes multiple teams that frequently or recently played in the Final Four. My guess is it's getting tougher and tougher to recruit in the Pac-12 with the entire conference down lately.

Always root for the Big 10 in tournaments. We need to prove the BIG was the best conference this year. I'm still livid that the media biased ACC got THREE number 1 seeds and the regular season and tournament champion of the Big 10 got a damn 2 seed. That is the biggest travesty I've ever seen from a committee. F ACC and F this year's committee!

Yes, for the B1G and would love to see another #1 ACC team go down, but seriously doubt it will happen this year.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the Big Ten had a terrible showing in the 1st Round.

Aside from UM/MSU and probably Purdue, there's a very real possibility every other team could lose, and that's not just because "upsets happen".

Iowa fans rooting for teams such as Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Nebraska is like Burger King executives rooting for great revenue numbers at McDonald's, Wendy's, and Culvers.

Why in the world would you want your primary, direct competition to succeed and be more attractive to your selling targets???

I can respect that. I could never root for border state schools, however. Basically rooting for your direct competition.
I will not openly root for any of them. Wisconsin, Minnesota not a chance

I like for the rest of the league to miserably fail, and for Iowa to become the Gonzaga of the Midwest... beating all league opponents by at least 30 points. Then saying condescending things about them after the game.

Not at all like that...these rivals share revenue. I always root for the other BIG teams. Hate the SEC chant!
