Do hotels still do "wake up calls" now days?

Aren't you like a LaQuinta Inn platinum member or something? I'd probably ask the front desk the next time you're there.
I never had a hotel do this because I probably wouldn't be up for talking on the phone in the morning.
If I have to get up way too early to catch a plane I would schedule a back up wake up call just to be sure. You just have to be very nice to the computer voice when scheduling.
Who knows? I'm high on a Monday night and just musing.

When I check in and the person behind the counter is under 25 - I always ask for one. Everyone finds joy in life in different ways.
There's no one to talk with anymore,.. They just program the switchboard to ring you room at the designated time. You pick up and there's nobody there..
If I have an early flight, I set a wake up call and shuttle/taxi up at check in. Most recently was about 4 months ago.
I honestly wouldn't trust another person to get it right. I'll just set my alarm, thank you very much.
Just stayed at a hotel in Sedona a week ago, didn't even have the front desk staffed after 9pm, someone came in at 8am to start the day. Found that interesting. No wake up call there.
Along the same lines, checked into a place tonight that still has a guest services book in the room. One of the recommended restaurants is across the street. From the looks of it they’ve been closed for 2-3 years.
