I’m all of the above in my house. I had Maid Brigade forty years ago when my kids were just little and I was feeling overwhelmed.
But ever since then I’ve been chief cook, cleaner, laundress, pool guy and window washer.

No, wife isn't lazy and does it all. WFH helps.

She gets mad about every 3 months and says she's getting one. I tell her to go ahead but she doesn't want to spend the money so she backs out every time. Kind of funny.

Clean the house myself due to the services we had beat the crap out of the trim board when vacuuming and spent more time cleaning up and preparing for the cleaners so just decided to do it ourselves. Waste of money.

Yep, not a poor. Plus have severe balance issues. I’m not cleaning. Also prefer to pamper the wife.

No. I'm borderline OCD and my ADHD makes my hyper focus on cleaning the house about once a week. Wife stays on top of the day to day and I'll randomly clean all the windows or dust the entire house ect once a week.

* we have a toddler so "clean " and "messy" can overlap.

We had someone for a short period but my wife basically cleaned up before they arrived.
🤷‍♂️
Definitely can get out of control-have had to dial back the wife a time or two on too much tidying up. You want to have things decluttered so they can easily deeper clean but have caught my wife spraying down counters and have been WTF are you doing!?

They clean all the bedrooms and bathrooms for that price? That seems like a really good price.
Yep. Change the beds too with the fresh linen we lay out. 2.5 baths. Clean floors and rugs and obviously the kitchen. Usually there are 2-3 of them and they knock it out in two hours.

Bi-monthly
$200 a visit.
We pay $160 every 2 weeks and have given her the last 2 raises without her asking. We treat her very well. Paid her during Covid when she wasn't coming, pay her to come when we're on trips that span 2 visits so we're not there after she comes. When we replace perfectly good furniture, she gets it. We've furnished her house basically. She has open access to our house. I imagine if she ever decides to go back to Mexico we'll come home some time to an empty house lol. Just kidding, we trust her totally.

No balance nerves in brain. So cleaning such as mopping or anything that requires sudden torque movements could cause a nasty fall. Perhaps breaking bones or concussions.
It’s mainly being able to keep clear footing constant bending over up & down for several minutes not recommended. As long as I have a clear stable base I’m good. No issues with outdoor work. Or working out at a gym

Every other week here too. Well worth the $. Wife is happy with more free time on weekend and no more arguments about me trying to help clean but doing it wrong.
