Do you see another win this season?

When you look at that schedule, it is pretty difficult to see how Iowa can carve out even one more win. I would think Iowa would be the underdog in every single game. Facing Purdue on Tuesday could be a major blowout and the official beginning of the end of the Fran era at Iowa.

Maybe...

Nothing is a gimme for this Iowa team but washington should be a win.
I think they somehow get 2 others, although which those might be I have no idea.
So max 3, min 1. Then close out a craptacular season with an early exit from the BTT.

I don't know where the wins might come, but they occasionally do shoot the lights out and can win vs teams that are better than our
Hawks. Fran could suddenly make some lineup changes for positive. Lot of things are possible. It does seem dark right now.

The beginning of the end was the Illinois game to end the regular season last year. Complete flop at home with a juiced up crowd with an NCAA tournament bid on the line.

It really doesn't matter, however many wins the Hawks may pull out from the remaining 10 games it won't be enough to make a difference, Hawks still end up underachieving and not playing in the post season. Fran and his staff needs to go after this season, if nothing else but to show Hawk nation, men's basketball is still important and it's not just OK to be a second rate athletic program that it has become.

I’ve seen that movie.

Iowa was down 17-2 and eventually 30-9 in a game that was a big deal with a great crowd.
I guess there's a reason I blocked it from my memory...lol

But tbf, that was an elite eight Illinois team playing a non qualifier. Can't really expect a much different outcome.

I think I read that we'll only be favored in 1 or 2 of our remaining games. So, based on my experience as a Hawkeye fan throughout the McCaffery era, I predict we will courageously exceed expectations and have 4 more wins.

That will put us at 17-14 on the season, 8-12 in the conference (before the BTT). Clearly out of the Dance. Probably in the NIT.

This is who we are.

I think they'd need 2 wins to even be on the conference tourney bubble. Only one and likely watching from home.

There will be nights where they get really hot and pull off a win. Right now that's their path to winning, just shoot really well. As has been shown already, it's really hard to sustain that game after game, so I wouldn't expect a lot more wins, but there will be some.

Nope. All current Iowa coaches are infallible.

When Iowa wins, it's because of immaculate coaching.
When Iowa loses, it's because of the inadequacies of the players.

Perhaps you've forgotten that the football team won 10 games last year. And quite obviously you've forgotten about......
TOM DAVIS!!!
