Do you sleep in bed with your socks on or off?

Not even while camping in Yellowstone and it was 30 degrees in the tent. But then we had really warm sleeping bags.

no socks in the summer/fall... socks in the winter.

When you get to be 6'4"-6'5" your feet tend to come out from under the covers more often. I'm sure you short people don't have that problem.
This might be the only reasonable explanation for this phenomenon. I can see if your feet are hanging off the bottom of the bed why you'd want socks.

Ceiling fan has two settings…clock wise to cool and counter clock wise to move warm air down.

And if anyone sleeps with socks on….

And the fan only should go clockwise, to keep cool air. The warm air can stay on my damn ceiling.

6'4" here too, no socks, ever. It is quite literally the worst feeling to be in bed with socks on, at least for me.
When I started dating my wife 25 years ago she slept with a fan on, told her if I knew she was crazy we probably wouldn't have started dating. She quit using the fan after that.

There's this thing called a thermostat, it runs up to a furnace and an air conditioning unit. They run when ever you want them to, circulate air and keep the room at the temperature you want. It's amazing. Everyone should look into buying one.
Thermostat and furnace fan don't move enough air to keep me cool at night. House is set at 67 or 68, ceiling fan on high, at all times. Between the noise from the fan, and the constant air movement, it's a joy to sleep in (though I sleep like shit most of the time).

To each their own, I suppose, but socks in bed and no fan = serial killer vibes.

Or you could do what the rest of us tall people did and buy a bigger bed with longer bedding.
I sleep on a king size bed with a king sized comforter, maybe you're just not that tall. My feet hang over the end of the bed, I can't share a blanket (that's just weird) because I tuck it between my knees for spinal alignment while side sleeping. But thanks for asking.

Yes people that wear socks to bed and use a fan are serial killers.

It's a joy but you sleep like shit? Makes a lot of sense. I sleep great because I found what works for me.

I'm 6'4". Buy a bigger bed. You're a monster.

Socks off year-round. With a fan on for noise. Sleep in boxers only and usually don't even have a blanket because the wife steals it. If I do get a blanket, 1 or 2 feet are always out of it for temp regulation.

You don't sleep with a blanket because your wife steals it?

Get 2 blankets..one for you and one for her.

Problem solved.

What bed is bigger?
That is how I sleep too but will not share a blanket. I use a king size comforter and usually am 1/2 covered and 1/2 not. My feet only get cool in the winter (and not all that often). I do only heat my house to 66-67 degrees.

I sleep worse with no air movement, dead quiet, and any clothes on outside of my boxers. I sleep like shit regardless, and have tried several things to make it better, and all have been relatively useless. It's actually quiet frustrating, but it's something I've grown accustom too over the last 3-4 years.

One that has more square footage would be bigger.

I live in an almost 100 year old house with gas space heaters, which I turn off at night. I don’t like the electric blanket, so in the winter, I sleep uncovered wearing a long sleeve t shirt, long john bottoms, and those socks that have little rubber grips on the bottom (toasties?). This is doable in Louisiana since high 20s are usually the coldest outdoor temperatures and the house stays above 60° during the night, even with the heaters off.

Summer time, the AC stays on, so I sleep under the covers wearing boxers only.

How far down on the bed are you lying that your feet hang off? Standard king is 80" long.

California Kings are a little narrower, but are 84" long.

That's interesting, I don't know that i'm willing to trade the width, 84" would probably be enoug. I'm a light sleeper and movement of any kind wakes me up so I like being away from my wife. When I sleep on my side, I raise my arm above my head so a king size bed really isn't that big.
