Does Northwestern still make the tourney? It is looking bleak.

Whats your definition of bleak? They might lose the next 2, but they'll be favored in the next four, if not final 5 games depending on how those go, as well as how Purdue ends up... Collins rubs me the wrong way, I don't him to be the guy that finally has success there, but it's a huge stretch to think they aren't likely to win more than half of those games.
When is Lindsey going to be back? Things have not gone well for them since he has been out.
Sheesh, if only our hopes for making the dance were so "bleak". I'd trade spots in an instant (in terms of current resume, not in terms of team/coach/program).
The Big Ten is still the Big Ten even in down years. Northwestern could find things tough. Heck, Wisconsin could get beat a few times yet.
Sometimes I think the only salvation in this league is the fact that the rules say someone gets a "W". If not for that, the carnage would be.........

Poor Illini fans have had a rough few years!
Looking at schedule Rutgers only game could probably pencil in a W for sure. I think that 3 game stretch at Illinois, Indiana and home vs Michigan be key to win 2 games. Especially with Indiana and Michigan battling for NCAA berths. Few years ago I'd be cheering for N'Western to make the tourney finally. However with the trolling of Iowa and Fran by one Michael Wilbon on PTI I hope they miss out. But for some reason I have a feeling if they are on the bubble the committee will but them in since its such a good story and we know how many blowhard NW alums there are in the media. However I do find it funny that Nebraksa still shares the same # of NCAA tourney wins as N'Western does.
Gotta love those candy stripes! One of my all time favorite bands - saw the Thick as a Brick tour in Assembly Hall and then saw a show MANY years later at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. By then Ian Anderson had established a no smoking rule for his shows and it was quite enjoyable.
Now, back to basketball.
