Love love love this Senior class.

Brought Iowa basketball back from the dead.

Have won many big games and set records along the way.

About to be third straight trip to NCAA's and the national experts were talking about Iowa as A NUMBER ONE SEED. (never thought I'd see that)

These Seniors deserve big and loud fan support these final two games.

I challenge every Iowa fan to make it your personal mission to Get Mad Again and make Carver a HOME COURT ADVANTAGE.

Goooooo Hawks! Beat the stinky filthy Badgers!!!

I will never understand Iowa fans and probably all 2nd tier programs. (2nd tier isn't meant to be insulting - just a reality)

We had low expectations, talked about how much fun the team was, felt they were outliving even the wildest dreams about the season.... Then lose a couple and people talk about them having no heart and becoming apathetic and 'insert other insult that seems odd to say about an 18-22 year old'.

This season has been awesome. We can go toe to toe with any team in the country. Not everything can be perfect.

This season has been great by all means. Now we need to finish strong.

I'm enjoying the posts on this thread. Going to save my "Great year!!!" for when it ends. What I'll say right now is if anyone wants to ask how many years we should give McCaffery or suggests replacing an assistant with a head hunter...you are late to the self pity party!

Our program is solid, and we can expect some good stuff down the road. We know the coaches can spot talent, coach it, and bring it up to highly competitive levels. Heck, this year is probably not even the best we'll see!!!!

Thank goodness, finally, it's been a long and painful wait to get back to this kind of basketball.

Every Iowa basketball fan owes this Senior class a lot of gratitude and appreciation.

Mike could have gone to Stanford.

Woody could have gone to North Carolina.

Uthoff could have stayed at Wisconsin.

They chose to be Hawks instead and bought into a vision Fran McCaffery laid out to them.

Iowa basketball had been winning 3 or 4 BIG games per season before they arrived.

They have won 11 games SO FAR this year with 4 games to go.

That is amazing!!

I'll admit I have Chicken Little syndrome right after tough losses, but having a couple days to take a step back and really appreciate this team, staff, and season makes me realize how special it is.

It's easy to be upset and a tad knee jerk after a loss. It is hard to be around this site right after a loss. I really hope the fans show up and let this team know how much they are appreciated. Loud and proud hawk fans. Let's make carver rattle from all the noise.

I just love where we are at. Yeah, we are playing like crap but because of how great we have been, we are still in great position. Everything is still ahead of us!

Now, to get back to NOT playing like crap! That is what I would like to see.

I am very proud of this team and we owe a great deal of thanks to the senior class for being a huge part of turning this program around. I would love to see the Hawks make it to at least the sweet 16 this year which would a just reward for their hard work and dedication. And a Big Ten regular season title too!

We had low expectations,
Majority of preseason predictions I seen on various Hawkeye boards for our conference record were 12-13 wins and a top 4-5 finish...so I wouldn't say they were "low"

We are definitely on pace to exceed those predictions, but we still have four very challenging games left to play.

I can't remember the last bb season that I said "Wow" so many times! This team has done HawkNation proud!
