Any chance he goes vs Nebbie? I’m trying to think positive, Coach Smith announced that Ferrari is done for the year and Coach Eggum announced that Brayton Lee is out for the season. If Drake was out, wouldn’t Brands have announced it?

Love it, 125lbs is very winnable. He can avenge any of his B10 losses if he’s healthy.
I think he goes vs Nebbie just to knock the rust off.
Reno not exactly a world beater but he’s a good test to see where Drakes at health wise if he goes.
But…. but…. but.. he needs to rest… lol
I’ll admit I want to watch Drake wrestle as much as anyone on this team so for me it’s hope and wait and see.

That doesn’t sound great. Unless this is complete coach speak it sounds like whatever injury he’s dealing with won’t be resolved until post season.
Sounds to me like they will let him go Sunday and then they will have better gauge if he will be able to go for the post season or if its not worth further injury. They also would be taking in consideration that most likely he will be RS for next season while Ybarra backs up Spencer’s last season.
I hear tell he will be slotting in nicely at 33 next year. Depends on RBY decision to forego his last year.
He will most definitely be our 125lb representative on March 5th in Lincoln regardless of whether he goes or not this Sunday there.
Tom basically said that a month ago… Saying that if/when Drake returns, it’ll be up to him... with it being implied that it was largely about pain tolerance.
I would like to see him get a match in before B10's. He won't be 100%, but is our only chance at points at 125 this year. He will be ready to roll. I'm pretty sure Iowa's 125lbers say excuses are for wusses anyway!

This ^. Pain tolerance as it affects confidence and impact on scoring ability. It sounds like he's medically cleared and any wraps or braces that he might wear eliminate concern of further injury.
