I know that over the years there’s been a lot of back and forth as to whether or not ISU could hang in the Pioneer League, but I think this game settles it once and for all that they’d be a great addition to that conference...
It’s too bad they dropped the old ‘holding’ hanky just when Drake was at the 25 yard line
Regardless of who you cheer for , this was a great deal for the state of Iowa. ISU fans had years shaved off their lives, but it added excitement to the state today and gave Drake athletic department some money to spend.
The squeaked by what is essentially a DIII team.

My guess is that this was planned by ISU all along to keep other teams from coming after Campbell.

Since they squeeked it out I'm guessing they won't be deterred from talking despite the nature of their 8th win.

Bottom line...you and I do not in anyway agree that bitching about the coaches on a message board is productive or beneficial in anyway. The only caveat to that is a mean-spirited guy or a sub 500 coach and your trying to get him fired.

But bitching about fans who bitch about their coaches is a productive use of time?
I reaaaaaaaly hope this costs them the Alamo Bowl. WV doesn’t travel nearly as well so that’s probably the deciding factor but ISU simply doesn’t deserve it .
Guy named Weatherwax, whose wife has a lot of money and allows them to be big boosters, was mad at Bill Self after Kansas beat Iowa State a few years ago.

Rutgers is arguably the worst P5 football team this year and potentially every year since they joined the Big10.
