Drew $tephen$ now has 7 career 50+ yard FGs, a Program Record. Named B1G Special Teams Player of the Week

I was kind of hoping we’d get to see a 65 or so yard try at the end of the first half. It looks like he’s got plenty of leg for it judging from how high the ball is hitting the net or from how high on the upright that kick was 2 weeks ago.

Today, Drew was good from 27, 54, 50, 49 and 26. He also had 2 PATs for a total of 17 of Iowa's 29 points.

And in which recent game did Drew hit a 50+ yard FG which was taken off the scoreboard by accepting a penalty, maybe the Wisky game, so that was another one.

And in another game he hit the top of a goal post, just missing, from way downtown, 50+. So he is hitting it really well

It was UCLA. Stratton’s first series at QB I believe.

I do agree with Leistekow about this. Stevens looks very under control and smooth when kicking a 55+ yarder. He easily cleared the crossbar with that 57 yarder at Ucla.

He might lose a bit of accuracy trying to hit it harder from 60+ but I would like to see him try.

I hope he stays for another year..

The hawks have had a lot of really good kickers over the past 10 years or more but I dont think any of them have made it in the nfl except Nate the Great. I thought Koehn might have make it somewhere because he had a big leg.
