Dumb question about season tickets

How exactly do you order season tickets for Iowa wrestling? I went to the official Iowa Hawkeye site and selected the option for Iowa wrestling tickets. I created an account and selected a quantity of 4. I got a confirmation email but was not told what they would cost ($0), where the seats were at, etc. Seems more like I was put on a list to purchase tickets then actually purchasing tickets. Are you not able to purchase season tickets for wrestling yet?

I haven't gotten ny renewal email yet, so I imagine you'll get an update after renewals go through.

They are currently doing mens and womens basketball. The deadline for returning season ticket holders is normally around Sept 20th. I don't think you will be able to buy season tickets until sometime in October. 2 years ago they were 95 each. I can't find last years price.

Last year's pricing is not really comparable because of all the different packages they offered due to hosting the B1G championships and Olympic trials. You could have spent anywhere from $130 to $355 if you bought premium seating tickets and parking passes to everything. $130 was for season tickets and B1G all-session tickets. I would assume $95 is about the price again this year.

I just recently started buying season tix. My seats are in the mid range level, which is fine, but I'd like to move closer. I think the longer the season ticket holder you've been the closer they move you up, correct? Or, can I pay a little extra to the HWC or something and get closer seats?

I-Club donations affect seating. You have a point total that is similar to what with they do with football if you are familiar with that. Years buying wrestling tickets, donations to the athletic department, et al. Not sure about HWC donations.

Previous season ticket holders get first chance at moving seats. Once they have selected, new season ticket holders get their pick of best available. Giving to HWC helps the wrestling team but will not get you better seats unless it is a sizable donation and then somebody in the club would hook you up . You will get the chance to move every year but that doesn't mean there will be better seats available. It just depends on if people with better seats failed to renew.

You could have a million priority points and not get any closer unless they do a reseat. If they ever reseat Carver, the seat selection will be based on priority points. So a new season ticket holder that gives a lot of money will be able to get better seats than a long time season ticket holder that doesn't give much(if your donations are enough to have more total priority points).

last year was $80/ticket..but didn't include Grapple...but you got first shot at buying tickets for Grapple if you were season ticket holder.

I think two years ago was $95 per seat but it also included the regional National Duals match, so that may have increased the price. Normally it's been $80 or $85 I think.

In the press release announcing the schedule, it said that season tickets this year are $75.
