Just wrapped up the first wave of football interviews. We are supposed to get to speak with Fant later. He hasn't talked, even post game, since his family started talking on social media.

Looks like we will see a lot of nickel coverage from Iowa this week. So look for Hooker and Stone out there. Speaking of Stone, he said his ticket demand this week is very high. Since he is from 2 hours away, he said he needs 40-50 tickets. Interesting talking to him about Penn State. He said he visited there all the time in his senior year as an unofficial visitor and they kind of hinted at an offer and never did. Says he ended up in the right place.

Stanley said he's impressed by Penn State. He discussed the versatility of Iowa's offense recently and he also talked about how he tries to get 9 hours of sleep every night.

Hesse and Gervase talked about the challenge of facing Penn State and McSorley. Theme was playing assignment football. Hesse said he has noticed that opposing teams are looking to get the bal out quickly on a three step drop to mitigate Iowa's pass rush.

Couple of others we spoke to today were Austin Kelly and Colten Rastetter. Interesting talking with Rastetter in that he said he got some help this summer from a sports psychologist. Also he kept working on his technique. Kelly is an interesting story. Got the walk-on opportunity after his coach reached out to Brian Ferentz in February and ended up getting the chance.
