EAT IT BUGEATER TROLLS!!!

Don't know about the bugeater thing, but I was told that Cornhusker came about because announcers are not allowed to say Pig#ucker on the air.

You think you're hard because you wrote a sentence? Please. Spend some time alone to see how long it takes until you get utterly disgusted with yourself. Over/under? Ten minutes. Buy a dictionary, look up "dignity," "integrity," "respect," "courage," and "humility." If you're man enough, try to incorporate them into your life. I wish you well because it's obvious that it would suck to be you.
Or a sentence, because you know, the N is knowledge. Haaaaaaaaaaaha

My favorite play was the kneel down victory formation at the end of the game. You remember those from the Big 8 years when you had to play 1 good team a year? How's that Big Ten domination working for you so far?
Speaking of this, I heard in postgame that Nebraska had the chance to beat 2 top 10 teams in the same season for the first time since 1971 (or maybe '77?), but I was shocked to hear this. WTH did they actually have to do to compete for national championships?!?!? Basically, through the whole time they were good, they never beat 2 top 10 teams in the same season! Wow. I wasn't old enough when Nebby was good to worry about SOS and stuff like that, but perhaps we've been giving them far too much credit for their historic prowess of yore...

Favorite play was your wide receiver getting lit up.
Mine was watching that same safety throw his hands up and blame the grass when Kittle beat him in the end zone for a touchdown. And that same receiver came in 2 plays later from that "lit up". You can try you poor, poor soul, but at the end of the day, 12-0!

Hmm, in '95 it was #8 Kst., #7 Cu, #10 KU, and #2 Florida. I didn't check the others though.

Maybe because at the time they played they weren't in the top 10. Not sure.

"Due to their performance against Florida as well as beating 4 teams that finished in the top 10 by an average score of 49–18, their consistent dominance (smallest margin of victory was 14 points, trailed only once all season, averaging 400 yards rushing per game while allowing only 78, scoring 51 rushing touchdowns while allowing only 6), their record setting offensive performance, and their statistically impressive defense throughout the season, the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers are widely considered one of the greatest teams in college football history. You're still here? After the Cornflakes lost at home and ended the season 5-7? This is like throwing darts at a beached whale. I'm so tempted to put you out of your misery, but I'm hoping you stick around for target practice.
And your shitty run defense. And your coach, glad you will have him the next five years.

I love it husker fans claim only reason we won today was qb threw 4 int and they lost we didn't beat them. But last year they credited their "great defense" for Iowa's 4 turnovers and winning the game. Armstrong was luckily for how much he just threw it up for grabs he didn't have more than 4 ints.

Side note Washington beats wash st to go to 6-6 so one more team bowl eligible. How sad is it now you are hoping for 5-6 teams to lose so you can sneak into some garbage bowl game.

Good point, you never know how they're going to spin these stats when rankings are involved. You can say this year's Iowa team beat anywhere from 1-3 or 4 ranked teams depending on if you count ranked when they played them or ranked at any point or ranked at the end (tbd).
