Beer selection at both is great. IMO the food at Taproom is superior to El Bait Shop.
Someone has never been to the greenwood lounge.
Depends on my mood. If I'm feeling particularly fat I will go to El Bait and throw down on some broasted chicken and bacon wrapped tots. Different vibes to both places.

Oh shoot. When I lived in Lincoln I loved access to Ska Modus Hoperandi. Havent had that in years.

El Bait has some solid names on tap.
3 Floyds, Equilibrium, TG, Big grove, Prairie Artisan Ales and several others.
Most of those guys all brew up some world class stuff.
Have not had many Prairie Ales sours, but their stouts are top notch.
I rarely go to bars anymore; I get so much of this stuff from volunteer work out here, I have boxes of it
Have two more bottles of Kane A Night To End All Dawns - 2019 GABF gold winner for stouts (I have 2022 bottles now). Also a couple from The Bruery: Vanilla Villain and Monster Cookie Brunch or something like that. Have 2-3 cases of barrel aged stouts; the stuff El Bait has are some of the better craft brewers you'll find - while not everything they brew is "awesome" (they do average stuff, too), but you'd be able to get hammered on top-tier brews there.
One of the better "out East" brews I've found out here was a collab between Toppling and Equilibrium.
It was called King Al, and was excellent. I bought one pack, came home to taste one and went right back and bought the remaining 2 packs. Only find Equilibrium in individual cans, no packs.
Equilibrium makes a series called "Straight Outta Middletown" and the Straight Outta Middletown SSE version was ridiculously tasty.
