Uhl was first sub tonight.
Ellingson has brought nothing to Iowa of late. I would not expect to see him in a close game.
Hopefully he improves in the off season.
I think you are correct. Uhl needs to get his head on straight. I've been waiting for him to turn it around and I'm not sure it'll happen this season.
As for ellingson, no I think he's probably done. Since he's already burned a year, he'd be wise to go the Kyle Meyer route and go Juco for a year.
Woody dominated down the stretch.
Cuz Woody kick ass on the boards and on D. Also he is a better FT shooter.
Wagner needs to shore up the FT's if he wants to be on the court in the last few minutes of a game.

Williams is a nice player, but you saw tonight he is scared to pass the ball into the post. Tonight I counted 3 times where he did not feed Woody or Utoff in the block. I don't know if that was by design, but he has to get the ball inside. I agree that his build is upside, but I would like to see him get a little stronger before next year. The kid look smooth when he's on the court, seems to be playing within himself which is nice. I would not like to see him come in and start chucking up bad shots.

To be truthfully honest, NO. None of our PGs have been able to feed the post or dish it off since Cartwright. sorry but he was the best PG Fran has ever had here at Iowa. He was very quick and had good handles. I hope Fran can find a player like him in the future. The 6-7 guards are nice, but you need a change of pace PG to come in and get into the lane and be quick. You see every program in the nation has a shifty/quick PG, except Iowa.
Very true. Thanks for not engaging in my hysterics. I loved Bryce as a player for bringing his huevos with him to the court. I'd much rather have a player that makes a few mistakes while being aggressive/creative than one who takes no chances and whose actions can be predicted from a mile away like Mike G.(also look at why Jake Rudock wasn't right for the football team. Announcers love to talk about their A/TO + INT ratios and it just makes my head explode.)
Brcye Cartwright was one of the worst defenders Ive ever seen on a basketball court.

Yeah, that 11 to 1 assist to turnover performance he had tonight was hard to watch.
