Will he ever log another meaningful minute? Williams has a lot of growing to do, but just brings way more to the table.
Was Wagner the first big man off the bench ahead of Uhl as well tonight? Didn't seem like Uhl got many minutes.
I think you are correct. Uhl needs to get his head on straight. I've been waiting for him to turn it around and I'm not sure it'll happen this season. Was Wagner the first big man off the bench ahead of Uhl as well tonight? Didn't seem like Uhl got many minutes.
I have no idea why wagner got 0 minutes the last 12 minutes of the game. Woody is not at his best playing in long stretches.

Williams is a nice player, but you saw tonight he is scared to pass the ball into the post. Tonight I counted 3 times where he did not feed Woody or Utoff in the block. I don't know if that was by design, but he has to get the ball inside. I agree that his build is upside, but I would like to see him get a little stronger before next year. The kid look smooth when he's on the court, seems to be playing within himself which is nice. I would not like to see him come in and start chucking up bad shots.
HAHAHAH And Mike DOES make entry passes?? Holy crap I've been watching that pitiful showing for 4 years I can't wait for him to be gone.
To be truthfully honest, NO. None of our PGs have been able to feed the post or dish it off since Cartwright. sorry but he was the best PG Fran has ever had here at Iowa. He was very quick and had good handles. I hope Fran can find a player like him in the future. The 6-7 guards are nice, but you need a change of pace PG to come in and get into the lane and be quick. You see every program in the nation has a shifty/quick PG, except Iowa.
