Elon Musk publicized the names of government employees he wants to cut. It’s terrifying federal workers

Strange to me that the one's supposedly the most outraged about it are the ones megaphoning it. If you're really concerned about the privacy of the workers, why would you promote the news about it?
Because Elon put it out there, and millions of people saw it already?

We’re not the ones who promoted it to start with.

We should cut back on FEMA, USDA (FSA), Census, VA (private insurers can fill that need) and social security. Any ideas?

Dept of Education, DEI, many IRS agents, Federal Labor Relations Authority, National Labor Relations Board, Corporation for Travel Promotion, JFK for Performing Arts, Woodrow Wilson for Intenational Center for Scholars, Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, National Endowment for Democracy, U.S. Institute for Peace, etc.

Federal Employees personal information and salaries are listed in public records, and have been for a long time.

Of course the deep state and swamp are raging against Musk with their media crony wing hit pieces and embellishments from anonymous sources.

This is their slander playbook to a tee. The majority of Dem sheep fall for it, hook, line, & sinker.

If they don’t like it, they can find a new job.
Good thing plenty of other jobs exist.

I suspect you’ll be the first person to cry when:
- the FEMA claim payout on the natural disaster that impacts you is delayed;
- your parents Medicare experiences a hiccup and you can’t get it resolved
- your tax refund is delayed for weeks
- you experience food poisoning from an under-regulated food industry and have no recourse
- the CRP rent from the USDA doesn’t show up for your family or friends.

You're thick alright if you think your post is the same as Elmo singling a name out two out and putting it on blast on Twitter.

Buncha inbred buffoons in this thread trying to defend and deflect the obvious cruel stupidity that is the modern maga crowd.

Did they deserve to be singled out like musk did?

Please. They’re no better or worse than most of us.

From the crowd (Democrats) that had no problem doxxing private citizens & their campaign contribution records.

NOW crybabying about the public even knowing what job they have in government?????

Given than the latter is the natural consequence of the former, you probably should have a problem with the former, and not just the latter.

When Democrats doxxed private citizen campaign contribution did you get this upset that government agents did that?

No you say? Then STFU!

He is going to say that their names and positions are public and ignore the part about Elon megaphoning on his social media or some other completely obtuse position.
Yep. We all know these government workers have being harassed for years. Elon bringing their names out means nothing since this doesn’t change their lives in the least.

Quite a few of us didn’t care that actually.

Odd that it’s okay when a republican does it tho.

Please explain why it’s okay that Elon did this.

Your perception is incorrect. Undoubtedly because your vision and hearing are obscured by the inner walls of your rectum, so you get a pass.

Your handle indicates you’re associated with two of the least efficient states in the country along with lowest qualities of life. I’ll go along with the odds that my perception is closer to the truth than you like.

Yes, we should make regular, every day people who go to work, pay taxes, and have families, be "terrified" because they are employed with the government. That's definitely the American way.

If their job or role or compensation are legitimate then why should they be terrified?

This whole “story” seems contrived for mass manipulation against the coming storm of DOGE.

This is the why. No one has been harmed. Federal workers equate sunlight on their jobs and accountability with terrorism.

So shocking they are resisting being forced to find a real job.

What does a Climate Advisor do exactly?

Anyone else here wish they made $181K at a work from home fluff job for HUD?

She declined to be interviewed, but in a written response to emailed questions she said her directive under the Biden administration is to help promote Fudge’s vision that “HUD be a part of the solution” to climate change, adding, “I am honored to be in a position to advance this important work.
