Unfortunately mostly down. He was OK last night. He’s been up and down but I thought he was the player of the game. When Freeman went out he came in and defended and rebounded. Just what we needed. Going forward he should get the back up minutes at center.
I thought his defense and rebounding were fabulous. He had 6 rebounds, 2 steals and a block. That’s impressive.Unfortunately mostly down. He was OK last night.
Pat, which really is what happened tonight with him out.Should he get minutes from Reeman or Rikke?![]()
LITERALLY, (in this thread anyway). No D yet.
Really? Over Dix? I think not.....He’s been up and down but I thought he was the player of the game. When Freeman went out he came in and defended and rebounded. Just what we needed. Going forward he should get the back up minutes at center.
Disagree he has no confidence in his shot. It's pretty simple
Totally agree, last night was his best game this season. He’s been up and down but I thought he was the player of the game. When Freeman went out he came in and defended and rebounded. Just what we needed. Going forward he should get the back up minutes at center.
I think what he was responding to was Dembele was the player of the game”Dix is not a center.

Nah. The frontline of Krikke, Freeman, and Sandfort should all be playing 30+. Ideally Dix starts chipping away at Pmac's minutes so Pmac can back up Sandfort and Krikke. Dembele backs up Freeman. Pryce Sandfort should be getting token minutes when games aren't in doubt.
He has been better than I expected but not good enough merit more minutes.Dembele has a bit of development to go. I believe he is progressing at everything except his shooting. He will get that worked out to. He does not merit extended minutes yet.
Not the point I was making at all. You said "he was the player of the game". With all due respect, thats ridiculous given what Dix accomplished...If you want it to go to a big, I'll take the game Freeman had, thank you very much...Dix is not a center.
Minnesota was killing us inside, Freeman picked up his 4th foul and Dembele came in as a seldom used freshman and got 6 rebounds, 2 steals and a block in limited but crucial minutes. A lot of guys stepped up and contributed, but Dembele most unexpectedly and in a critical time/position of need. Maybe not the MVP, but the biggest surprise. That’s the point I was making. Not the point I was making at all. You said "he was the player of the game". I do. Pat would have had those minutes. I don't think our team sits in set #'d positions. You think Dembele took Pat’s minutes last night and not Freeman’s? 🙄
