Anyone have information on how to get 4 tickets for the Emerald Coast Classic - the two games in Destin?

Go Hawks!

The Emerald Coast Classic Website doesn't have anything about tickets. I was going to call the Iowa AD office to check. Haven't gotten around to it yet. We are going. Hopefully no travel issues.

I'm long ago U of I grad (1980), and loyal Hawkeye fan. We have lived in Destin since 2009, and it an absolutely fantastic place to visit! If you have a chance please come down and take in some games, and stay and vacation.
Air fares, check with Delta and American, most flights from Eastern Iowa go thru either Atlanta or Dallas, and then directly into to the Destin/Ft Walton Beach Airport. The airport is close to the college and game sites, but aways from the beach. We definitely recommend staying on the beach.
We are in the beach vacation rental business, and will sure help out any Hawk fans with area advice.

Guys, I just picked up my tickets today, locals benefit, and I have a little information.

The universities are receiving their tickets today and I think they said they are in section G and H, which are side court across from the team benches. The tickets go on sale to the public on the tournament web site on Monday, 19 Sep. http://www.emeraldcoastclassic.com/

The Hawkeyes are the home team for the Friday 25 Nov., 6 pm, game against Virginia and their bench will be in front of Section C. I purchased tickets in section C three rows behind the Iowa bench today for $35.00 per ticket each day. The seats on the team bench side, I think B and C, are padded, but there really aren't any bad seats in Raider Arena. Depending on a win or a lose, the Hawkeyes will play Memphis or Providence at 3 or 6 pm, 26 Nov.

The lodging links on the tournament site are good. I believe the teams will be staying at the Sandestin Hilton. hawkquiz posted above that he is in the rental business, so help a fellow Hawkeye.

I'm sure Tom, Blair and the team will have more information soon. If I get more information I'll post it. If anyone would like to contact me, fitzfm@cox.net

Hey there TennHawk, personally I like Regatta Bay the best in the Destin area. Kelly Plantation can be kind of hit and miss condition wise. If we get some groups of Hawks together I can probably work on some package deals there as well.
Emerald Bay is also another nice course. Avoid Seascape.
Indian Bayou is also another nice area course

Are there any plans for a football watch party prior to the Friday game?

I'd definitely recommend Miller's Ale House in Destin. Watched many an Iowa game there. Very nice atmosphere
