That is a ludicrous description of the US, and all the nasty stuff about Europe I said (and I don't hate Europe LOL) is way more a accurate about them than "hermit nation fighting for scraps" will ever be about the US.

By the way, virtually all of Europe is shifting rightward, and not just in emulation of Trump. In response to Euro leaders overseeing the absolute economic and innovation decline in Europe that renders them essentially toothless against countries with actual economic engines, whether that be the US or China, or oil producing nations.

Europe is now in FAFO territory. I certainly oppose anything that Trump would do to actually hurt European allies, however the silver lining will be if European nations realize they need to get off their rocket ship to the third world and not leave a power vaccum on their continent.
