Eno "sticky fingers" Benjamin is on the Doak Walker watch list.

Again, the only one pissing and moaning here is you. This thread has actually been incredibly informative, did you know any of the info provided by ASUhawk prior to this? It's cool dude you wanted to complain about people complaining only to find the only one complaining is yourself.

Agreed. You win.

Please refer to the 2nd sentance of the OP. As far as him winning the Doak, as a soph, there would be sour grapes. At minimum you have to say the iowa staff is partially responsible and of the two parties they were the adults. If Eno wins the Doak and J.Brock does anything at ISU there is going to be some bellyaching.
I can promise you won’t hear me bitch about either of them....only ‘miss’ I’ve been salty about that I can remember is Gordon.

That said....who the f$&@ is Eno Benjamin.....I don’t know her.......paging @MidnightBlueSix ;)

He once smirked at a local elementary school crossing guard while on visit to Iowa City. He's Amari "Flutter Eye" Darboh. Start a thread about it. There's nothing else to talk about.
Pic of "flutter eye"? ;) C'mon man, you went into it 100 mph and came out with some egg on your face, no need to double down. It is what it is.

Amari Darboh? Ross P? (I'm kidding of course but I know you can take a grain of salt with the tequila)
Yeah I agree that there have been some kicks in the balls over the years like that WR from ICW that I won’t name but I’ve accepted that recruiting is a series of hits and misses and if kids don’t wanna be Hawks that’s all fine....I won’t bellyache or complain about it....in fact when I see a kid has committed elsewhere I just throw out a friendly ‘bird gif’ for fun to blow off some steam and I always feel whole again;)

...but they'll be lucky to win 7 or 8 games.

Don't know the first thing about ASU, but yeah, I'd say as a general rule, a team coming off a 6-7 season and firing their coach is very unlikely to win more games the next season. An arguably tougher schedule and a new head coach with very little college coaching experience certainly don't point towards a likely exception to the rule.

The schedule is very unkind. ASU has historically done great in years 1-3 with new coaches then went back to average. The Pac is pretty weak overall but at Oregon, at Washington, at USC is going to be tough. Plus we don't miss Stanford and play both MSU and @ a tough SDSU before conference play. With a schedule like our rivals down south, even with Herm, I think ASU would have been an 8-10 win team. There is a lot of talent on the offense and the defense literally can't get worse.

IKM had 20 carries for 184 yards and 3 TDs. So does that mean he's on the Doak Walker watch list too?

I guess Eno is just getting the look because he's poised to be the feature back for ASU?
Plus Herm Edwards being the coach at ASU starting this season has aso drawn more media attention and people viewing the prospects of the team that otherwise might not be paying so close attention in the Desert.

This sort of reminds me of Michigan. Going nowhere and hired a coach who couldn't make it in the NFL. Sorry, just kidding...

Great thread.
So captivating you felt compelled to visit it at 3 AM. Not bad for a thread created to be a talking point to get us through a Thursday at work.

David, I have no idea what angle you are going for here. Is taking a hoody the worst thing that has ever happened. No, obviously not. Was he foolish enough to take a jacket, that could have only been obtained as an alumni, and post himself in it on social media... yes.

My angle is it makes the fan base look petty and again it is a rumor. How about grow up and except the fact he went somewhere else and wish him luck with his career.

I work third shift. It was either your thread or staring at a wall. You won by a flea’s nose.

Well then. Hopefully your shift went well and you get some sleep. Stay tuned for today's thread it will be riveting. (I did 3rd shift in Grad school, I hated sleeping during the day)

Let's just meet the Sun Devils in Pasadena on Jan 1, 2019, and settle this crap on the field.

Iowa vs. ASU will be the worst day of my life when it happens. Can't fathom rooting against the Hawkeyes. So much of my childhood was Iowa sports. Yet I am one of those people that roots for the school I attended no matter what. Hoping to make it back to Kinnick this year though.

The difference seems to be you are wrong. I am not.
