I hate people that talk to recruits on Twitter. I used to think it was all a bunch of middle school or high school kids that would message recruits, but more and more I'm seeing pictures of 40-50 year old men. Pretty sad.

everytime someone gets called out , ofor making comments on something they have no possible way of having information to back up their statement, this is their response. call someone a troll and then talk like a little kid and take their ball and go home.
so when you are called out and made to look stupid and uninformed, your response is to say " well i never said i really knew anything". dont you find that stupid?
I was under the same impression. Incredible how many older guys tweet crazy things to recruits? I guess I don't mind the welcome aboard or something of that nature but crazy criticism is nuts...
Wrong ! Jeter was drafted out of high school by the Yankees in 1992 and started playing MLB in 1995.
Yup, never played or attended school there. I think he was quoted as saying he would have though. Around the time Drew Henson signed with the Yankees.
Don't tweet at recruits or players. Ever. Dumbasses.
That's right. He had signed the letter of intent, was drafted, then went pro.
Derek Jeter signed with Michigan and enrolled and took classes fall semester. He dropped out 2nd semester freshman year after signing with the Yankees. Technically an alum and he did do a semester of classes, but I have no idea whether he has finished a degree.
Exactly why I've never really been into the recruiting side of collegiate athletics, exhausting even as a fan.
