Good! I hope that everyone involved - no matter what party they belong to, how rich they are, or how popular they are - get everything they deserve!
It is going to be interesting. Really makes you wonder just how many men out there want to prey on adolescent girls (and boys) if they have the power, protection and money....

No death penalty to get out of because he didn't murder anyone. At the same time I can't see how they would ever let him out of prison.

Epstein is toast. He'll be detained today; the sentencing guideline are at minimum near 30 years; and he can't snitch his way out. He's a bad guy.

ACosta was told to stand down by Cyrus Vance Jr in the case. Miami Herald. Acosta wanted to prosecute but Epstein lawyered up hard with Dershowitz and Starr. He couldn't compete with that or his own bosses plus Mueller telling him to drop it. Miami herald is one source. All there.

Was listening to Smerconish this morning and this whole deal stinks. He sounds like predator who should’ve gone away for life (and probably would have but for powerful friends).
Epstein has been known to be a scumbag doing this for a long time. Good to see this happening.

Meanwhile, Trump biographer Tim O'Brien this weekend reposted an excerpt from a 2002 profile of Epstein in New York Magazine, in which Trump told a reporter, "I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."
I've mentioned this before. Just speculation of course. Taking into account Trump's interest in dating one of his daughters, I wonder if what the Russians have on Trump is not pee tapes, but tapes of the mushroom with underage Russian girls.
Had Hillary won in 2016 and then run for re-election in 2020...or about the time that Bill could theoretically be arrested for his part in this sordid affair...that would be a wrinkle, unlike all other wrinkles, in presidential politics. Sheesh.
Meanwhile...I totally agree with the sentiment that ALL abusers, regardless of party affiliation, positions held, etc, should be rounded up and put in the slammer should they be guilty of this activity.

He's a bad guy. He will do serious time. But he can shorten that somewhat if he gives up all the other names.
Epstein is super rich, so let's not assume he's going to prison for the remainder of his natural born life. Super rich people get different justice. We have already seen this with Epstein. Sure, public attention is whipped up, but years from now as this case drags along through the appeals process the super rich always get better justice unless they run out of money.

I hope everyone involved in this in any capacity, regardless of political or economic standing, goes to jail for a long, long time.
Imagine the state of our politics where you have to announce that you hope ALL pedophiles get punished.
I sure hope no one on the democratic side try to spin anything. If they’re guilty then take them down. This is a true opportunity to drain the swamp.
