ESPN Bracketology 2/8

I agree with whoever posted earlier that as an Iowa fan I don't want to see ISU in the sweet sixteen. I would assume most ISU fans wouldn't want to see Iowa that early either. Say what you want about ISU losing six games, they are a scary NCAA match up for anyone. Their defense is tough in stretches and if they get hot from three they can beat anybody. Not to mention Morris is one of the best point guards in the nation. And as much as Iowa fans dislike Georgie boy, he is an All American (2nd team). As much as I would relish Iowa getting a chance to redeem themselves against ISU, I hope it is in the final eight or even better the final four.

Id love to get Iowa State on a neutral floor

Perhaps more than one venue releases their version of division 1 men's basketball All American players.. The only one I could find was the pre-season all American team at the Bleacher Report which I saw early in the season. I can't find a list compiled by any other web site nor can I find a mid-season updated list so maybe there isn't one but Georges Niang along with Kansas player Hield were two of the five players named to the pre-season 1st team all American list. I didn't find any other Big 10 or Big 12 players on the second team but Trimble, Valentine, Hayes and Kansas Perry Ellis were 3rd team all Americans.

The link goes first to the picture of the first team then can click to see the third team then the second team and then it lists each of the first team on separate pages. If anyone knows of a mid-eason list or a list recognized by another venue such as ESPN or CBS I would like to see it, thanks.

It would be a miracle if Georgie Boy was anywhere near a first team AA when the real ballots come back. ieu and the Texas Ten being over ranked in the pre-season is nothing new.

I am betting isu and the Texas Ten will repeat their March performance of the past 5 years. isu grads will hype now great they are only to fail.

I don't like playing ANYBODY we've already played. The worst scenario for me would be to get in a region with one of the Big XII teams we've already played three times.

Here is an interesting article that I'm sure clown fans who troll on here would love to dispute. I know its an opinion piece but if you would've told clown fans at the beginning of the year that on Feb 10th, they're viewed by the experts as an outsider, they would've attacked you similar to the crazy guy in Hilton a few years back who went after Bill Self.
