Cowherd is a fan of blue bloods and he is generally a front runner. A team like Iowa will always get his wrath because they're probably never going to be a blue blood but they have the ability to beat the blue bloods.

Yes, and when he is trying to make a case for one of his blue bloods, and if they have beaten Iowa, he'll throw Iowa in his "quality wins" category. Iowa is good when it serves his purpose and we are "fake ID" when we don't. It's his schtick.

ETA: Cowherd is a corporate guy. He is 100% a shill for whoever he works for. He is all about Fox now. Since the Big Ten is partnered up with Fox now he gives the conference more love, or at least doesn't hammer us as flyover country that nobody cares about as much as he used to.

Rome loves himself some Wisconsin. Goes on vacation there, his oldest son is a freshman at Madison, the last few months have been a non-stop Wisconsin lovefest on his show. I bet the Badgers get a positive mention or interview at least once a week.

I heard him mention that his oldest wants to get into the media (like his dad) or possibly be a writer. Iowa should have been all-in on that kid's recruitment. Rome would be talking non-stop Iowa if we landed him. We'll have another shot with his younger one though.
