ESPN Puts Iowa On Alert...

I can't wait til nobody gives a flying fuk about ESPNs agenda.

When talking about Houston (their new flavor of the week) last night and their win over Cincinnati, they couldn't get over how GREAT of a win it was. Cincinnati is ranked 57th in the Sargarin ratings.. 3 spots ahead of Minnesota and 5 ahead of Indiana. If we beat Minnesota or Indiana it'd be a shit win.

Espn is a PR firm for intercollegiate and professional sports. Time for Hawk fans and team to have and exude confidence. Win on the battlefield of the mind each person and player. This breeds more than just success on the field, but also in daily life. Coaches need more mental strength as well. Lead by example.

Hawkeyes have this. NDSU may make it a game at the beginning, but Iowa is too talented. With the NDSU style of offense, this will be a nice little test before B1G play.
 
In other years I would be concerned because of the September craphole game. However, this team is mentally stronger than teams we've had in the past and I don't think they will let that happen. At least not against this team.

Lets be real people. This Iowa team is underrated in my opinion. They have a chance to have a special season and NDSU is another bump in the road. With leaders like CJB and Jewell, this team is primed to be better than last season. I think Iowa wins and wins big! No respect from the media.....

that's all 14 SEC teams.... if anybody from ESPN criticizes Iowa for playing North Dakota State... they are not only a liar... they are a hypocrite.

I heard Danny Kanell complain on the radio a week or two ago that ESPN makes him pick one of these every week, even though he doesn't see anything he truly thinks is a likely upset. Controversy sells, and Iowa fans complaining are falling hook, line and sinker.
 
Gotta think the ONLY reason Iowa scheduled this game is because of Barta's connections to the school. This game will do FAR more for his old school than it will for Iowa ... win or lose.

See above bold sentence......our team's bulletin board material is authored by our own fans, rather than our opponents.

Consider the source, ESecPN, the same source every poster sez that dis us, but now they are all-knowing & we are quaking in our cleats.

What...did you honestly think that by unilaterally changing the name to the "September Craphole" that you could somehow positively influence nearly two decades worth of Karma?

ESPN's broadcasting the game. Needs eyeballs to watch a game of two schools located in ND and Iowa.

Surprised they didn't pick NDSU to win by 40 and as a result of this Ferentz will fire bomb NDSU's bus after the game.
