I hope Caitlin avoids ESPN if at all possible. Angel Reese doing the "You can't see me" at the ESPYS certainly seemed scripted & the Jeremy Schaap interview a few months ago are just two examples of why. Most of the Twitter comments/quotes were how cringe it was...of course my opinion really doesn't matter much 😂
She just reinforces she is pure trash every time she talks and does something like the hand gesture. I bet you don’t see CC22 doing that in the future or ever moving forward after she did it toward her bench mates only during the NCAA tourney after the white trash Louisville player was spewing vulgarities.
The Bayou Bimbo is so cringe. She forced that so hard, and everyone is roasting her for it.
Caitlin wins Best Female College Athlete
CC won the ESPY female college athlete of the year award per ESPN on their website. This category was not shown tonight at the awards ceremony.
I find it oddly convenient that the award that Reece won was televised, but the Best College Female Athlete wasn't? I feel like that's just as big as an award. And of course, none of the outlets such as ESPN, SportsCenter, and others have not tweeted about Caitlin winning, but they all tweeted when Reece did.

ESPN is trash and I will watch then as little as possible. Watching Disney and ESPN fail due to their political agenda is interesting. Not sure how they can’t recognize it.
FWIW, Caitlin's ESPY win was shown on Sports Center tonight, along with some nice video of her 2023 highlights.

watched for awhile, Didn't see Clark anywhere in the first few rows, so I knew she probably wasn't there or her award would not be shown. They did show clips of her several tomes in the highlights though.....
FWIW, both the Sullivan and ESPY Award winners are determined by fan votes. Whichever finalist has more voting support from fans will win the award. And that is often determined by how much time and money a university has available for advertising and promoting such contests. I'm proud that the U of Iowa focuses its endeavors on more important matters. GO HAWKS! GO CAITLIN!
