If Mike can somehow figure out a plan against Brown, he would have probably the lowest ranked opponent in the finals.

His plan will be what it always is. Try not to be taken down and force into multiple OTs. Brown's will be what it always is. Crank on his head and try to secure one TD.

It really is that simple in this case. Evans is a boring as hell but a beast on top. Brown is the stronger guy and can usually use it to break Evans down and get the single TD he needs.

Evans' gameplan needs to be 'do everything I can to get a first period take down'. That will be the difference. If it comes down to 2nd and 3rd period ride outs, Brown has a better stall ride because he's stronger.

Evans can't stick with the same formula and expect to win......which is why I suggested yesterday that Evans seemed content with just going through the motions and getting to this point and doing the same as usual and losing to Brown the same way and then take his chances with Kokesh in the consolation side. Just win matches by decision and get team points. Keeping it basic.

If Evans really wants more than that then he's gonna need to do more. It's up to him, but I think he's already made up his mind.

I didnt like mikes chances last year against perry but mike wrestled a great match. I'm hoping for the same tonight! I hope he wins of course and the refs dont decide the match like last year.

We are long over due for some breaks in the semis and finals--especially Evans.

Just hope Evans comes out very aggressive in the 1st & 2nd periods and doesn't let ref's decision even be a determining factor in the outcome of this match. (do it the Gable way!!)
