Ex-cop gets year in jail for asking to lick woman’s feet

A suburban Houston school district police officer who pulled over a female motorist and then asked to lick her feet has been sentenced to 1 year in jail.

Patrick Quinn, a 27-year-old former Cypress-Fairbanks school district police officer, pleaded guilty to official oppression. He was sentenced on Wednesday in Houston.

According to court documents, Quinn stopped the woman in August 2014 and found marijuana paraphernalia but told her he had a foot fetish and would release her if she let him lick her feet or give him her underwear. Investigators say he then changed his mind and let her go.

Likely more for abuse of power. Pretty sure all a foot fetish gets you is a job with the New York Jets.

Ehh this is a mild abuse of power at best, and when no one's directly harmed other then the shock of having a cop ask if he can lick your feet it makes me seriously question if the person should be in prison.

Remember we all have to pay to keep this guy in prison. Not sure I like paying for feeding a guy and guarding a guy for a whole year who's greatest crime was being a crass dickhead and terrible police officer. I don't want to pay his police officer salary because he sucks at that job, but I'm not sure I want to pay to feed him either.

I'm sort of with NWA on this one. If we really have hit this guy with criminal charges (which I question), why not house arrest? Leave prison for the people who are dangerous to other people or society in general.

And I wasn't defending it, think he should have been fired, community service, blah, blah. All I was saying is he probably went to jail for using his police powers to work out his foot fetish, not for the action itself.
