Hate to sh*t on everybody's gloom and doom but #3 tOSU fell to #11 Lehigh in a dual 21-18. I remember this dual...they wrestled like crap. So really, this can go one of two ways. Seemed to work out for tOSU.

Was it three years ago when we had our horrid dual vs tosu?

The sky is not falling but we need to get it together and have a flawless national tournament.

I think it was CaliNittany who reminded us that Minne beat PSU right before the post season. Tournaments are just different. It's a different vibe and one is actually battling for something vs wrestling in a dual nobody on the team seemed to want.

Except Gilman.

It was very evident that the team didn't give two $hits about wrestling NC State

Here's the thing...losing a dual to a good team is one thing...wrestling like your legs are jelly and not wrestling aggressively and intelligently this late in the season is what I am pretty sure is riling up so many Hawk fans. As it is for me. NC St has some pretty nice wrestlers, and BTW, I don't think I have ever seen a team with so many LOOOONG legs and arms as these guys had, but Iowa did not look good at all, except mainly for Gilman IMO.

It is the poor look from so many of the spots in the lineup that is most distressing AND it is not the first time we have seen this phenomenon in the past several years.

What concerns me is that I will most likely be able to pull up a "One Year Ago Today" thread after this years Qtrs/Semis at Nationals that will look very similar to results from the past 3 - 4 years. Hope I'm wrong but I don't see this trend changing anytime in the near future.
