I am from the Detroit area and the Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, reminds me of how fricking stupid Coleman Young was as Mayor of Detroit. To save money in Detroit, they turned off the street lights.

As a Chicagoan, I don't think Johnson is an effective mayor either. That said, I don't think he is representative of Democrats in municipal governments across the country. Certainly not: "Example of what happens when a city is run by the Democrats". If you do think so, make the case, use logic, use reasoning, combine words into sensical sentences, combine the sentences into a paragraph that conveys the case you want to make.

The two cities I know the history of well here: Chicago and Detroit. Chicago was voted best large city for visitors like the fifth or sixth year running. As for Detroit, let’s look what happened the last time they had a Republican mayor:
