Expressing an apology to Jordan Bohannon

I did not believe he would beat out Christian Williams and would only be a time substitute and occasion scorer. Glad I was so wrong. The guy has more heart and a good work ethic. He could definitely use some help as he was tired at the end.

We need Williams. Ellingson was serviceable today, but if Michigan would have pressured him more at the top of the key, it wouldn't have been good. He's better when he's not dribbling the ball around too much.

(Not bagging on Brady, he had a nice game today and did a good job of stepping out of his comfort zone when Williams went down, but he's simply not a PG)

I am with you on the eat crow train because I thought Brady would transfer and wanted him to. He's done a nice job this year. Still has some issues with on-the-ball D but he's not alone. Keep playing with confidence and knocking down shots as that really helps.

One thing about this team is the ability to shoot free throws at the end of the game. Jok, Bohannon, Ellingson and Baer can all knock them down. Who would you foul? Cooks job will be to rebound the occasional miss and put it back. BTW, I'd bet you will never see Bohannon sleep on an inbounds pass again.

I'm growing concerned that the back problems Williams is experiencing could be effecting his development more than we know. This is twice now that he was forced out of a game and I didn't even see when he hurt his back.

I've been a great supporter of Williams and a big believer in his potential. But, what many of us have thought was playing with a lack of confidence could be playing with a fear of getting hurt.

I'm not seeing the athleticism I saw when he was in high school.

My gosh, I hope I'm wrong but this has happened at times that a talented high school kid arrives and can't get over injuries. Rodell Davis, Greg Norman....I don't want to even start thinking of all of 'em.

You may be right Dan, however, unless Dailey begins to receive significant minutes, we will need Williams this year to back Bohannon up. I don't trust Ellingson bringing the ball up the court, and Moss' scoring mentality is better fit for a 2-guard.

Hopefully CW recovers and this injury doesn't become reoccurring

One thing on cook I don't want anymore jumpers, drive it to the whole get the and 1 or free throws. bc nobody in the big ten can stop his power and quickness. Work on the jumper over the offseason to get you ready for the NBA as a junior or senior.

Agree completely. Cook and Pemsl have the freshman free throw shooting thing going on. Same with the outside shots. I don't know if I have enough years left in life to finish if I start listing off every freshman big who came in and had work to do on his shot.

It doesn't mean they all develop one, but enough do to not be anything but patient with these guys.

And wow but has this team already rewarded patience or what!
