OK, its Friday afternoon and I'm dipping into the left over holiday swill. We got some peach brandy that reminds me of my Grandma. I bet it would be good over ice cream.

I don't drink much anymore, but I am smoking some of Washington's finest legal recreational marijuana. Right now I'm smoking a mix of Raspberry Dream and Dirty Widow. Two strains from two different local farms. Good stuff.

For munchies, I've got these things called Rebanadas that I found in the Hispanic aisle. It's two pieces of toast with frosting in the middle. Way better than it sounds.

Homemade ginger green tea with lemon and honey. And later, I'll get a little crazy with some Delsym.

Jack Effing Daniels on the rocks.

I'm out of the country;.

Still dunno how you make that work. Moved on to Great Divide Whitewater American Wheat. Pry sneak in a flask of Fireball to the high school basketball game tonight.

Where are you staying in Anguilla.

I believe all the beaches are public so if you haven't eaten or checked out the Viceroy (if not staying there) you will find some first class eats. Also, little shack about a mile down the beach from the viceroy, forgot the name but great food.

Take a Catamaran out to the prickly pear if you get the chance.

Great island, great people.

I put down 3 old fashions and a bottle of Cab.

We are staying near Viceroy. Have been there a few times for drinks but it's out of our price range. We're renting the ground floor of a two-story house about a quarter of a mile down the Barnes Bay beach from there. If you're standing on the point of Viceroy looking out to sea, we'd be on your left. Three bedrooms, two baths. Owner lives upstairs, very nice lady. This is our 30th trip to Anguilla in the past 32 years, so we're fairly familiar with things. Seems like I know half the people and most of the dogs :)

If the restaurant you mentioned is the other direction, along Mead's Bay, it probably was Blanchard's Beach Shack, and yes, they have excellent food at good prices (for Anguilla). The beach shack is adjacent to their main restaurant, which is uber expensive and littered with celebrities, so we avoid it.
