Who TF cares who the POTUS is when the FBI is trying to manipulate public perception of wrongdoing. The FBI shouldn't be making any decisions based on politics. They should be looking at every case as if the suspect's name is John Doe or Jane Doe.

It's amazing how people rationalize bad behavior or possibly illegal behavior. Just agree that Hunter Biden is a shitty human being who profited from his father's position, and probably kicked back some of those profits to his father. And of course getting in bed with the Chinese could affect foreign policy decisions, but there's never going to be any way to know that. You conspicuously avoid that possibility, even while ::gasp:: floating it all the time about Trump and Russian ties.

Trump being worse has no bearing on what anyone else in the world does. You start multiple threads each day about Trump being horrible. I agree he's horrible. He was horrible long before he became POTUS.

In summary, I hate Trump, have no use for Hunter or Joe Biden, and have disdain for your ultra partisan hypocrisy.

FBI had the laptop for nearly a full year before the election. If the goal was to bury the story, then why release that info mere weeks before the election?

"Allegations provided to my office appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation," wrote Sen. Grassley in a separate letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray.


I don’t know if it is worse than falsifying evidence in pursuit of FISA warrant against a presidential campaign, but it’s terribly unseemly.


Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was escorted out of the Washington field office by at least two “headquarters-looking types” last Friday, sources told the Washington Times on Monday.

Thibault had already been on leave since FBI director Christopher Wray revealedduring a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this month that he found the whistleblower claims against the agent and his colleague, FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten, “deeply troubling.”

Then why didn't Wray fix this? If there was damaging info, why is Wray still refusing to pursue it? The man was hand picked by Trump. Are we really to believe that Hunter had classified materials but instead of hitting him with it, Wray decided to squash it and go after his boss instead just to help Joe out?

I'm pretty sure Op is highly exaggerating what happened. FBI warned about Russia misinformation in general and Facebook made the decision to ratchet down the Post story.
