Fact: Ferentz Cannot Win The Big One

And who exactly is taking these 2 star kids and making them competitive, oh that's right half the delusional fans think Iowa is a destination coaching spot and we should routinely get 4 and 5 star athletes.

Time and time again when it matters we can't get it done. Look to Wisconsin this year. I also point to MSU 2015, OSU 2009, and so on. We will continue to enjoy 6-6 to 9-3 seasons, but a B1G title will not happen until we have a head coach not named Ferentz.
Can't win the big one? Really, perhaps you need to open up a history book and look again. See, this is the kind of mindless crap we have to deal with every time Iowa loses a game. Complete stupidity. Cannot win the big one, huh. What was the tOSU game last year? How bout Michigan? Penn State a few years ago? The Orange Bowl? Good lord people

according to you, we shouldn't win but 2 or 3 games a year, that kirk must be a hell of a coach!!

4 active coaches in America have won national titles, so you could EASILY make that argument about the other 126 of them.

Drop any name for me of the other 126 and I'll give you the examples of how they blew the big ones when they had their shot.

Fact: Iowa under KF will always win a game or 2 each year that it shouldnt and Iowa will always lose a game or 2 a year that it shouldnt.

How many of those games were for a big division lead or conference title? I'll give you a hint, you don't need any hands to count.

pretty big game when you consider they are gonna be in IC once every 6 damn years!

That doesn’t make it a big game unless you’re solely basing that premise on the other team and not our own. In which case you have some serious envy issues.

Ferentz has never been in the Big one so how do you know he cant win it? What big one are you talking about? NCCG? That's the big one to me hes never been close...

It’s not that he can win a big one - but that he rarely puts together a solid, consistent season.

So really the only big game is the b1g championship and cfp games. So yes he is 0-1 in "big games".

That’s true.... but you could say the exact same thing about every above average college football program.

Here's a fact for you. Iowa has not won a Big Ten title in 14 years.

I don't like that one.

But... it's a tough freaking league. There is a group of teams that effectively have a ZERO chance of EVER winning a title again -- Rutgers, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, and probably Maryland and Minnesota.

At least Iowa is not one of those.
