Don't like the taunting. I agree with his substitution strategy. I don't feel sympathy for south Carolina if you don't want to wait then don't substitute.
Say what you will about Bielema……he would not have punted on 4th and 2 on Missouri’s 40 yard line yesterday.

They need to adjust the subbing rule about giving the defense time. I understand the defense should be able to change but timing needs to be figured out—both ways.
I’m not a Bielema fan. I knew a guy who was on that last Rose Bowl team. Let’s just say he didn’t have much nice to say about BB.

Based on everything I’ve heard while Bret has been at Illinois, HE would say he was a tool. Guy grew up a lot and got necessary humble pie after Arkansas.

Looks like he’s taken a page from Penn State and Michigan State. His defensive players seem to get hurt right after South Carolina has a big play or gets a first down.
I hope Illinois loses. The refs should have called unsportsmanlike conduct on Bielema. What he did was the definition of unsportsmanlike, and so was his abuse of the substitution rules that started the whole thing. No way Bielema should EVER be allowed back on the sidelines in Iowa City. What a classless jerk.
Hayden NEVER did anything like that bullshit. Fry played mind games and was aggressive, but he never taunted another coach or player. What Bielema did was WAY over the line. The refs should have flagged him for unsportsmanlike conduct. Letting him get away with that is a disservice to the game.
I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that. From what I understand, there is mutual disinterest between the university and Big Bert-tha.

Who wouldn't when Bielema is allowed to openly commit unsportsmanlike conduct without a penalty? That's BS. The refs should have gotten in BB's face, flagged him, and warned him he'd be tossed if he did anything like it again.
Illinois is going to win, and that's BS too. BB is an embarrassment to college football.

At this point I think there is a better chance that the Big Ten fines Kirk for screwing up that Missouri game.

South Carolina just screwed by the play clock there. Play was over and they took 5 seconds before starting the play clock.
