Bunch of Nancy's on here whining about a coach having a little fun and trying to get his team an edge. Keep clutching your pearls while illinois climbs ahead of us in the conference
If BB had interest in the Iowa job, I would hire him. Moot point, though.Bunch of Nancy's on here whining about a coach having a little fun and trying to get his team an edge. Keep clutching your pearls while illinois climbs ahead of us in the conference
Lol NOWho wouldn't when Bielema is allowed to openly commit unsportsmanlike conduct without a penalty? That's BS. The refs should have gotten in BB's face, flagged him, and warned him he'd be tossed if he did anything like it again.
Illinois is going to win, and that's BS too. BB is an embarrassment to college football.
Lol, whatever. It was frickin’ hilarious, and he trolled a petulant nepo baby that had been crying about everything all game. The last half hour says different
He totally got in his head. It was hilarious, imo.Lol, whatever. It was frickin’ hilarious, and he trolled a petulant nepo baby that had been crying about everything all game.
Would take him in a minute.I love bielema...
Fair point. At this point I think there is a better chance that the Big Ten fines Kirk for screwing up that Missouri game.
Well, he certainly is not a small one. He’s always seemed like a huge tool to me.
Well....that's not the reason...but yeah...he'll never coach Iowa.Bert is a douche, that’s why he’ll never be the an Iowa HC.
That said. He won.
I'm not a fan either, but I think it's fairly safe to say that there aren't too many guys out there universally considered to be "nice guys" who have had his coaching accomplishments.I’m not a Bielema fan. I knew a guy who was on that last Rose Bowl team. Let’s just say he didn’t have much nice to say about BB.
Of course.I'm not a fan either, but I think it's fairly safe to say that there aren't too many guys out there universally considered to be "nice guys" who have had his coaching accomplishments.
That pretty much is the reason. He’s not well thought of in IC. What’s your take?Well....that's not the reason...but yeah...he'll never coach Iowa.
He wouldn't take the Iowa job if offered. Silly to think he would. That pretty much is the reason. He’s not well thought of in IC. What’s your take?
Hugely. It's mostly BS. Give me championships. Everything else is just losers yapping. The class thing is overrated
I love bielema...
During undergrad, I would occasionally run into him at The Airliner. He was always nice and would chat. He may not be a stoic competitor, but he’s a competitor.Of course.
The guy is probably just as big of a douche as he was in college. I am not a fan. But I would gladly take him at Iowa. The guy is built for the Midwest/Big Ten football.
They do need to fix that substitution rule. I recall when Bielema bitched about the old rule. The intent was to allow the defense the chance to sub personnel if the offense did so, not to wind down the play clock.
Something like the defense has 15 seconds to get player subs in and others off the field or you’re assessed a timeout. And no offensive subs with the play clock at 25 seconds left. If you do then you’re assessed a timeout. That would fix it fast.
Players don’t commit to a program because the HC has an acceptable BMI.He's been successful for the most part, but there are other options out there for a good coach without hiring a big fat slob. How in the hell does he teach discipline to his players when he has none personally. I guess he doesn't.
Those are looks of “who ate the last piece of pumpkin pie” and “yeah, I ate the last half of the pumpkin pie!”
But but Kirk is so horrible. He would do well at Iowa. That’s why we don’t want that turd as our coach.
At 74 years of age, I thought it was hilarious. He totally got in his head. It was hilarious, imo.
This sh*t is divided by generation. Old heads will be appalled. Everyone else laughs. Fun game. Period.
Kirk would have written something on that mysterious recipe card…. & put in a new piece of chewing gum.
I was a student manager during 2 of Bret’s years at Iowa. I guess I have a different opinion, one of the nicest, most genuine guys I got to know.I'm not a fan either, but I think it's fairly safe to say that there aren't too many guys out there universally considered to be "nice guys" who have had his coaching accomplishments.
