For Mothers Day I took my wife golfing so for Fathers Day I'm getting a Pedicure and a Massage. After that were taking the boat out with my dad and going fishing.
Today we spent the day out on Saylorville with the family. Pretty nice little weekend of boating.

It was indeed righteous.
The herb chicken was good too. Mrs. Tradition (no pics) and the boys (again, no pics) were surprised that it was smoked because of the golden color. And the herb influence was subtle. Very nice.
I have an offset and a Weber too, doesn’t mean the brisket won’t be good.Yeah, but you have a pellet pooper....

Ending up going smash burgers on the blackstone griddle. I’ve had my eye on the “American wagyu” ground beef. So much fat it basically deep fries itself on the griddle while getting a nice crust. Was awesome.Okay, the moment y'all have been waiting for! The pics!

The daughter made breakfast tacos this morning, which were great - chorizo, bacon, eggs from a local farm.
Last night we started homemade white sangria - apple, white peaches, white nectarine, plums, strawberries, blueberries. Sat outside in the deck and drank that this afternoon while listening to classic rock. High here today was 75, so it was great out.
Now about to grill steaks and making parmesan-potato stacks.
Overall it's been a really good day!
