Favorite Iowa Uniform

Good thread. It brings back a ton of great memories. I too vote for the cursive gold uniforms. I loved it when Iowa wore them for throwback unis a few years ago.

Something interesting about Miller. When he came to Iowa from Wichita he had the unis designed to looked like Wichita's, at least the pants. He must have liked that design.

I didn't know that, but I did see WSU on TV in the early '70s and they were wearing a gold version of our Miller uni.

The home unis with gold lettering were kind of cool also.

These are really cool but put the tigerhawk on the shorts and you are set.

Our best uniform IMO would be to put the tigerhawk big on the front then add some stuff to the shorts. I have seen most NIKE sponsored teams do this jersey in recent years but not us!
