Can you guys feel the dread of the mighty blackshirts making your undefeated season a long lost memory? Mike Riley is going to be like Freddy Krueger as your dreams of an undefeated and national championship season get shredded. Oh boy I would hate to walk into that game as the hordes of the nicest fans in the country fill you up with post Thanksgiving rice crispy treats.

Be warned a storm is coming your way and it's not Ohio State, Michigan State or the Harbaugh. Hawkeyes ye be warned.

If Dickens had anything to say about it, the ghosts of Nebraska's relevant past may make this game interesting. The reality is this Nebraska team and program inspires no fear in anyone except for maybe the Rutgers of the world.

Assuming Iowa beats Purdue, they may decide to not make the trip at all, allowing Nebraska to be Bowl Eligible. Kirk Ferentz is well known for his generosity, so this is not out of the realm of possibility.

Sounds sceery... Lol! Mike Riley reminds me more of Mr. Rogers. Rice Crispy treats sound good tho.

But 5 National Championships and the GREATEST COACH EVER, and uh uh Laurence Phillips err uh forget that last one. Heisman Trophies and the GREATEST WALK ON TRADITION EVER! BACK TO BACK TITLES and the greatest TEAM EVER 1995 just read the ESPN poll they voted on.

Just look at how many Big 8 titles they won and how they used to beat the crap out of another college team with Iowa in the name . This is all relevant to now guys!

ABC with a national audience. UN's history in such games says Iowa will put up 70 points against the Pinkskirts.

It's funny how playing Iowa was the Cyclones Super Bowl, now it's the Lincoln, Ne. team that has the Hawkeyes as theirs. Go Hawks!

Where's HuskerRay and all those Nebraska fans that were here back in August? I actually find a good football discussion entertaining as I might disagree but it's fun to talk about really.

Nebraska has to be the most classless and disrespectful organization in America. And I've seen how Iowa State fans act.

The Cornhuskers are truly pitiful creatures.

It's funny that some fans can't grasp the here and now of this year. There is no dominant team in my opinion this year. Clemson is very good but unbeatable I don't see it. Ohio State is starting to look good again but they miss their deep man from last year. Alabama looks really good now but Coker is average in my opinion and they still lack a great secondary or pass rush. Notre Dame is good offensively but their defense is lacking.

Oklahoma actually looks really good now but who knows how long that will last. Florida who I happen to be a fan of is seriously challenged offensively and without Grier I fear a loss is looming to FSU or Alabama.

Why can't Iowa be the team this year? Win out and take your chances against Alabama and win the respect like Ohio State did last year.

Eh, don't base it all on their internet trolls. I went to the game in Lincoln in 2011, they were very cordial fans, fun to tailgate with. Of course they also won that game, so there's that.

Anyone who is anyone knows this is gonna be a tough game for IA. Should we win? Yes! WILL we win? Depends on if the d came to play.
Still way exceeded our expectations of the season while nebby lost to the trailer trash.

Yeah the internet tough guys are usually the guy sitting in the corner of the room strung out and scared to death of life.. Would most these people say these things to your face? Ninety Five percent of fans are great people who are fun to talk football with and will even let you have a brat or drink as they let you know the history of the program.

It's that small percent that like to yell and shout for attention because they are just general idiots who you should avert eye contact with.

Nebraska gets the gift call of the century to beat MSU and they're right back to their cocky, arrogant selves. I guess they've forgotten they've already lost 6 games to teams not as good as Iowa.

My wild guess is that Iowa shows up and beats Purdue because that guarantees a share of the B10 west crown. ...then come into Lincoln ready to put it to the Husker for the outright west championship.

How many B10 titles does Nebraska have?

This.. I had an amazing trip to Lincoln back in 2006 cheering for the away team and their normal fans are great.. Their message board fans are something else!

This has high entertainment value written all over it.

Iowa may well lose to Nebby. But at the end of that day, Iowa is 11-1 heading into the CCG and Nebraska is 6-6. That's the worst case scenario folks.

Round 1 of the playoffs. Win in Lincoln and advance to the quarterfinal.
It's all business, and the Huskers are in the way.

Have a suspicion this game, regardless of records, was circled early by Ferentz. Should be a good one.
